K5-4th Grade Catholic FormationK5-4th grade classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm at St. Mary's Visitation Parish School.NOTE: Please drop off your child by walking them into the school atrium for a short family prayer service that begins at 6:15pm before the children head to their classrooms. Vacation Bible School
When: July 14-18, 2025; 9am-noon
Who: K3-4th Graders as of fall 2025 Where: St. Mary's Visitation Parish Cost: $50 per student - cash or check made out to St. Mary's Visitation with VBS in the memo line. Registration: Complete the registration form at the link below, then mail or drop off your check or cash to the Parish Office to reserve your space. Students entering fifth grade through high school are needed to assist during Vacation Bible School July 14th-18th from 8:30am-12:30pm each day with leading sessions, helping with crafts and running activities. Join us for a fun week and a great way to get required volunteer service hours. Volunteers should also plan on attending a training session on Friday, July 11th. More details will be sent out as the date gets closer. Volunteers can apply by filling out the form HERE. |
Second Grade Sacramental PreparationSecond graders who have been in Catholic Formation for K5 and 1st grade (SMV parish school, other Catholic grade school, or homeschool) are invited to register for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist at St. Mary's Visitation. A copy of the child's baptismal certificate must be included with the registration if the child was not baptized at SMV Parish. If your child has not completed K5 and 1st Grade Catholic Formation, please contact Chris Kinzy at the Parish Office before registering for the Sacraments, [email protected].

Assistance is needed in grades K5-4th and 5th-8th, as well as in our high school and Confirmation program. Materials, training and support are provided as needed. A Catholic Formation registration discount is available to parents who volunteer for every class as a catechist or assists a catechist. Please contact Josh Dieterich, [email protected].
