Our program is designed to offer quality after school care in a safe environment for all children of St. Mary Visitation Parish School beginning in K4.  We also provide:                                                      
  • An experienced, caring staff
  • Class size has a 10:1 ratio of student to adult
  • Homework help, if needed
  • Fully equipped computers
  • Occasional crafts
  • Story time
  • Snacks 
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Outdoor play, weather permitting
  • Access to the school gym and playground

​Days of Operation:
  • All regular school days.
  • After School Care will be closed for emergency closings, such as snow days, when school is not in session. If the school is closed in the middle of a school day, we will remain open.
  • We will be closed over Christmas and Easter, and in-service days when the students are not in school.

Daily Fees:
  • $7.40 per hour
  • One hour minimum charge, then in 15-minute increments.
  • $6.80 per hour for second or third child in family
  • There will be a refund for time scheduled and not used provided notice is given in advance.
  • There will be no refund for time scheduled with no advance notice.
  • $1.00 per minute late fee will be charged per child for every minute after 6:00 p.m. that your child is not picked up.

Billing and Payment:
  • Registration Fees for 2024-25 school year (this is an initial, one-time enrollment fee):
    • $45 - one student
    • $80 - two students
    • $115 - three students
    • $155 - four students 
  • St. Mary's After School Care is a pre-pay program.  Money should be put into your student's account at the beginning of the week or month (whichever is preferred) and fees will be drawn from the account as hours are used. 

Disciplinary Expectations:
  • Disciplinary procedures will be consistent with school policy. No child will be allowed to negatively impact the positive atmosphere of other students. Disciplinary problems will be handled at the school office and may result in dismissal from the program.

  •  ASC is a prepaid program. Payments can be made through our Give Central system. We recommend paying enough to cover one month of ASC fees.  Once your balance gets low, you will receive an email reminder.
