Visitation Institute Book Study
Each year, St. Mary's Visitation offers two book studies, one in the fall and one in the spring, to dive more deeply into the great works of Theology and Spirituality. Traditionally, we study a classic book of Catholic thought/spirituality in the fall, and in the spring, a contemporary work.

FALL 2024
For the Fall semester, we will be reading two small books by Dr. Timothy O'Malley (PhD, Boston College), the Associate Director of the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame where he also serves as the editor of their Church Life Journal and teaches on the faculty.
These books will help us better dive into the 3rd year of the USCCB's call for Eucharistic Revival, encouraging the faithful to take the Eucharistic Christ out from the pews, allowing the transformative power of the Eucharist to change not just our lives but the entirety of the world.
