Visitation Institute Book Study
Each year, St. Mary's Visitation offers two book studies, one in the fall and one in the spring, to dive more deeply into the great works of Theology and Spirituality. Traditionally, we study a classic book of Catholic thought/spirituality in the fall, and in the spring, a contemporary work.

2024 Spring/Lent Book Study
During Lent, we will continue our focus on the Eucharist by reading and studying Dr. Scott Hahn's (PhD, M.Div.) modern classic, The Lamb's Supper. Dr. Hahn is a former Presbyterian pastor who converted to Catholicism at St. Bernard's parish in Wauwatosa while studying for his PhD in Scripture at Marquette University. He is the author of
more than 40 academic and popular books and currently serves as Professor of Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Classes will begin during Lent, on February 22, 2024 from 9:30-11:15am in the Senior Center. If there is enough interest, there will also be an evening session offered, from 6:30-8:15pm.
