Our Adoration Chapel Celebrates 30 Years
Our Adoration Chapel has been open for prayer 24 hours a day, seven days a week since October of 1985. St. Mary's recently celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel with Forty Hours of Devotion.
In preparation of this celebration, visitors to the Adoration Chapel were asked to share what the Chapel has meant to them. Here are some of the responses we've received:
"This is always my peaceful oasis. Here is my refuge and quiet place from the world where He teaches me to be patient, kind and forgives, and gives me all the grace, strength and courage to live in the world."
"Peace, solace, comfort, praise, fresh hope, love."
"It has been a great blessing that we have the Chapel at our parish - God hears all prayers, I feel especially close to Him and Mary in the Chapel."
"Visiting the Chapel has deepened my faith and I am always so impressed to see all the dedicated and devout people of all ages who visit and pray."
