Child Ministry at St. Mary’s Visitation is where kids grow in love and in knowledge of our Catholic faith! We teach kids (K4–8th grade) about God and His Church and help them encounter Jesus in a more personal way through prayer, study and example. Some of our ministries include:
Sacraments: St. Mary's Parish children in second grade celebrate the Sacrament of First Reconciliation in January, and the Sacrament of First Eucharist in May. Preparation for receiving the sacraments starts at baptism and continues in the home by the primary catechist, the parents, in school or formation sessions and within the parish.
Is Jesus calling you to teach? Adults and teens are invited to join our ministry team as we are always looking for faithful and committed people who enjoy working with children.
