Getting Involved

Family Expectations

Because we are a Catholic community, active participation by all families is encouraged and expected. Parents are invited to attend school week liturgies with their children and encouraged to worship as a family on the weekend. We seek to form a partnership with our school families in an effort to foster student spiritual, emotional and academic growth.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are offered in many different areas with varying commitment levels required of time, talent and treasure. These include policy committees (School Committee and its various sub-committees), The Athletic Association and The Home and School Association. In addition, the Volunteer coordinator for the Home and School Association sends a Volunteer Opportunity Form home in spring and at registration. The comprehensive listing of activities and areas that need parent input and help includes programs and fund-raisers sponsored by their association in addition to other areas such as aides for the library, classrooms, office and music room, laminators, volunteers for assisting at Jump Rope for Heart and the Book Fair.

Communication

To build a partnership that works for parents, teachers, students and administration, communication is essential. This is accomplished through communiqués from the various school committees and associations, sporting and scout updates, as well as classroom activity news.
