While meditating upon the mysteries of the rosary, we experience the life, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The rosary is a prayer with incredible power which has been encouraged by numerous saints and popes. In his Apostolic Letter on the Most Holy Rosary, John Paul II states that by praying the mysteries of the rosary we are placed in living communion with Jesus through the heart of His mother. He goes on to say, “The Rosary is by its nature a prayer for peace, since it consists in the contemplation of Christ, the Prince of Peace…As a prayer for peace, the Rosary is also, and always has been, a prayer of and for the family. It is important not to lose this precious inheritance.”

St. Mary’s Christian Women sponsor the monthly Family Rosary on the second Sunday of every month, in the church from 5:00–5:30 p.m. All families and individuals are welcome and encouraged to join us.
