Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Council serves as an advisory body to the Pastor and parish staff in the areas of spiritual leadership, governance, policy formulation and planning. It develops goals and objectives for St. Mary’s Parish and establishes priorities for implementing those goals through the Council’s seven standing committees. The Council assigns duties to the standing committees, reviews their activities, and provides direction as necessary to coordinate their efforts in meeting those goals and objectives.

Time Commitment: The nine elected members serve terms of three years, with three members being elected each year. The Council meets eight times each year, with a day and evening of reflection also scheduled.
