Lenten Book Study

If one were to pick a saint who is a combination of the most influential yet least known, St. Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) would certainly be near the top of the list.  This medieval abbess, mystic, and Doctor of the Church was an author, liturgical composer, linguist, and scientist.

During this season of Lent, we will look at a survey of some of her most famous writings.  The classes will begin on Thursday, March 4th, in the Attic Youth Room from 9:30-11:15am.  We will also have a class from 6:30-8:15pm if there is enough interest.  Please contact Josh for more information and/or to register, jdieterich@stmaryeg.org.  There is no cost to the class except to purchase the book.
