Visitation Institute Book Study
Each year, St. Mary's Visitation offers two book studies, one in the fall and one in the spring, to dive more deeply into the great works of Theology and Spirituality. Traditionally, we study a classic book of Catholic thought/spirituality in the fall, and in the spring, a contemporary work.

Spring Book Study

As we begin to prepare for the US Bishops' call to reinvigorate our knowledge and love of the Eucharist, we will be studying Dr. Brant Pitre's Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist, one of the most informative and exciting works on the Eucharist in years. Dr. Pitre is the Distinguished Research Professor of Scripture at the Augustine Institute and holds a PhD in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. He has written extensively at both the popular and academic levels on the Jewish roots of the Catholic Faith.
Classes will begin on Thursday March 2nd, 2023, from 9:30-11:15am in the Senior Center. If there is enough interest, there will also be an evening session offered, from 6:30-8:15pm. For more information, or to register, please contact Josh Dieterich, jdieterich@stmaryeg.org or 262-782-4575 x109.
